A) Manufactured from 1859 to 1874. Standard address and patent markings on the sides of the frame. Matching numbers on frame and barrel cluster. Fitted with checkered grips.

Condition: Very good as partically refinished (barrel). The barrel cluster is mostly a smooth dark patina. The frame has an attractive untouched aged brass patina with a gouge on the back strap. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp.

B) Manufactured circa 1863 to 1888. Standard markings stamped between the barrels on both sides with hard rubber grip panels.

Condition: Fine. The barrel cluster retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The frame retains traces of original blue in the protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina. Traces of original niter blue finish remain on the small parts. The grips are very good with a series of small scratches on the left panel near the screw and a very small chip missing from the right panel near the bottom, along with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
