A) Fine. The barrel retains 30% original blue finish (strongest in the protected areas) with the balance a smooth brown patina. The cylinder has a smooth brown patina with scattered traces of blue with some minor spotting. The frame retains approximately 95% of the silver plating, with some minor scratches and some minor dings on the backstrap. The grips are fine with the exception of a repair (left panel) and some minor dings and scratches. Barrel is slightly loose, with action functioning properly.

B) Fine. The barrel and frame retain 85% original nickel finish with some minor frost and some light flaking, with minor flaking at the muzzle. The cylinder has been cleaned bright with traces of nickel in the flutes and some minor pitting. The grips are excellent with the exception of a couple chips near the frame and a few minor scratches, with pearl developing a yellow appearance. Action needs work as the cylinder does not always rotate when action is cycled.
