Todays auction brings to you two dark amber-Dutchland Dairy Milk Bottles. Enameled in white. These milk bottles were once called The Gates Homestead., but were then covered with Dutchland Dairy. It you hold the bottles up to a light you can see a picture of a Farm and GATES HOMESTEAD DAIRY and a scene of a farm homestead, which has been covered over with the listing of ingredients for the Dutchland Dairy. The other side of the bottles have a statement from the previous owner that reads: We'll never be the biggest, so we try to be the BEST-But we would be neither, In fact, nothing without Staunch friends and neighbors like YOU. It is then signed Appreciately, Dan Gates. I am not able to see the State where they came from because it is covered by the list of ingredients. The addition of Dutchland Dairy and the addition of the ingredients, the color of the bottle, the new name; Dutchland Dairy and the fact that the Gates Homestead Dairy and scenery is covered up, these bottles are very old. They also have a rolled lip. Also features a lot of enamel printing.
