Lot of two 19th century bottles, including an embossed "Jackson's / Napa / Soda / Springs" on the front; "Natural / Mineral Water" on the back. This California blob top, aqua-colored soda is 6 7/8" high with a nice "whittled" effect. Some interior staining inside top and a broken bubble near the base of the front side (probably a manufacturer's flaw), o/w in Fine condition. The second bottle is a "Warner's Safe Kidney & Liver Cure / [image of a safe] / Rochester, N.Y." The amber, 9 1/2" glob top patent medicine bottle was one of the most widely distributed throughout the U.S. This one predates the 1906 Pure Food & Drug Act ban on using the word "cure", so it probably dates from the late 19th century. In very good condition. [GX-75, 80]
