Two 1936 Postally-Used Hindenburg Covers Two Scarce Postally-Used 1936 Envelopes From the Doomed Zep
Two Scarce Postally-Used 1936 Envelopes From the Doomed Zeppelin, The Hindenburg. Very scarce and desirable, both to postal collectors and those of Americana. The Hindenburg, of course, caught fire and was destroyed while approaching a mooring mast at Lakehurst Naval Air Station in New Jersey on May 6, 1937, one of the most notorious of American disasters. Both covers are in excellent condition, each measuring approximately 6.5" x 4.25".
