Two 1911-12 Bureau of Ethnology Books Parts 1,2. Part 1 (1911) is Smithsonian Institute Bureau of American Ethnology Bulletin 30, Handbook of American Indians North of Mexico. It includes a map of North American Linguistic Families. Part 2 includes a Synonymy (dictionary). According to the Chief of the Smithsonian, W. H. Holmes, these books contain ''a descriptive list of the stocks, confederacies, tribes, tribal divisions, and settlements north of Mexico, accompanied with the various names by which these have been known . . .'' The Part 2 book has a damaged front cover and binding and water marks on some of the pages. Each book is 9.5''H x 6.5''W Part 1 is 972 pages and Part 2 is 1221 pages.

After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.
