1) J.E. Bleckmann (Solingen) 1860 pattern saber, 34 1/2" double fuller blade with "BTM" in a diamond on the left ricasso, 2-branch guard, Phrygian helmet pommel, leather and wire grip and an iron scabbard. 2) U.S. Providence Tool 1860 saber, with defaced U.S. 1862 date on the right ricasso and a hardness test dent over "PROV/ TOOL/ CO." on the reverse. Pommel marked "30", otherwise as #1.

Condition: 1) Very good, with pitting and dings on the blade, mixed patina on the brass, mild wear on the grips and a mixed gray and brown patina on the scabbard. 2) Good, with some light dents and spotting on the blade, a cleaned patina on the brass, flaking of the leather and pitting and dents on the scabbard.
