1) Six pairs of Army Air Service aviation wings, none with makers marks. 2) Fourteen Army Signal Corps aviation wings, 8 with wings, one with wings and propeller, 3 with wings and globe, one with wings and a shield, and one with wings and a balloon. 3) Black leather aviator's helmet with brown fur inner lining and a fabric chinstrap, and a pair of fur lined leather aviators gloves. According to information provided by the consignor, this set was the property of a Lt Raymond Wilson (photo included), a pilot with the 12th Aero Squadron. Established in 1917 as the 12th Reconnaissance Squadron, the 12th remains in service to this day, having performed aerial photography in both World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War Europe, Kuwait and Iraq.

Condition: One of the Signal Corps wings has a broken pin, with all others in very fine to excellent condition. Both the helmet and gloves are also excellent, showing some minor wear and handling marks.
