<td width="100%">
Is it a bracelet? Is it a watch? How about BOTH! This turquoise and silver tone metal piece can be either a watch or a bangle bracelet. Watches like these are sometimes referred to as peek-a-boo watches. The top has beautiful turquoise stones. Turquoise is a mineral which is valued as a gem. Turquoise is a blue, bluish-green, basic phosphate of copper and aluminum stone with veining. It is more valued as a gem when sky-blue. This peek-a-boo watch is robin-egg blue or sky-blue in hue with beautiful veining. It appears to be silver but I could find no mark. The silver tone metal finish gleams and may have been rhodium plated. I am not sure of the metal composition. It is a Geneva watch with 17 jewels. The face of the watch is pristine. The back of the watch reads ?Base Metal Bezel ? Stainless Steel Back?. Please see all four pictures. The pictures portray the watch better than my written description. I took the watch to my watchmaker yesterday, and he stated that it is in good running condition. I wore the watch yesterday and it keeps good time. It has a mechanical movement. The bracelet part is in excellent condition. This is a vintage watch carefully preserved. It was purchased from a client who traveled out West years ago and has given it tender loving care. It measures approximately 7 ½ inches in circumference. It has a secure hinge. A peek-a-boo for you!
