Using a pistol driven gas system and a detachable 10 round magazine, the Tokarev SVT was the Soviet Union's answer to the American Garand, and was popular both with the Soviets and the Germans who could successfully loot one. Hooded pin front and tangent rear sights, with "star/ 1940" on top of the receiver. Fitted with a 12-slot flash hider, bayonet lug and a cleaning rod running along the underside of the handguard. Fitted to the receiver is a 1941 dated PU sniper scope with base numbered "3453". Smooth straight grip stock, with wood and metal vented handguard, brown leather reinforced green canvas sling and a flat metal buttplate. With a 9 1/2" knife bayonet, black painted metal sheath, leather lens covers, canvas scope cover, brown leather magazine pouch and an extra magazine.

Condition: Very fine, with 95% of the arsenal blue finish, showing light handling marks and edge wear overall. The bolt shows a fine copper color, with a line of bright wear down the left side. Stock is very fine, with minor scratches and pressure dents. Optics are clear. Canvas and leather items show minor wear. Mechanically excellent.
