Fredric Wertham had a field day with this one in the pages of <B>Seduction of the Innocent</B></I>, particularly as regards a Jack Cole story with two men being dragged behind speeding cars. This issue was the second time in this series the story had been used. As Wertham noted about V2#1: "This time the story was promoted from the middle of the book to first place, and the dragging-to-death illustration was the frontispiece." On top of that, the issue also has art by Alex Toth and Wally Wood. And this copy is the only one graded above 5.5 by CGC to date. Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $841; NM- 9.2 value = $1,150.
