Reverse has handwritten confirmation of two assessments paid. Mines located in Holcomb Bay, Alaska per San Francisco Call of November 30, 1898. It is at the entrance to Endcott Arm. Looking a photographs today - it looks far more suited to glaciers than mines. Letter accompanying the stock from the State Department of California says the company was incorporated in 1895 and was forfeited in 1905 for not paying taxes. The California newspapers speak of multiple assessments, but no production!
