Amara Manikya (SE 1499-1508 / 1577-1586 AD), Silver Tanka, Saka 1502, with title 'Conquerer of the World,' citing Queen Amaravati, 10.48g, 23.57mm Obv: Lion Facing Left, dated below Saka 1502. Rev: “Digbijayi Sri Sri/ Yatamara Mani/kya deva Sri Ama/ravati Devyau”. (RB#166, KM#91), Extremely Fine, Scarce.It is the second coin of Amar Manikya. After the victory over “Bholua” and “Bakla”, Amar Manikya introduced this coin. As he conquered all region in all direction of Tripura kingdom, so he thought that he had able to establish larger Tripura Kingdom. Here in the first line “দিগ্বিজয়ী” (Digbijayi) means “conquer in all direction”. Though Later he conquered Srihatta now known as Sylhet in Bangladesh.
