Three different types of bonds issued and cancelled. 1) $50. Issued to L.L. Day and Co. in Boston, Mass. Orange border and large vignette of train pulling into station. February 7, 1911. 3" tear on left side. Measures 9 1/2" x 13" (NEW-688-B35 ic) 2) $5,000. Issued to William E. Rice on July 9th, 1907. Green border. Same vignette as 1) Residue from being torn out of the ledger. Fold lines. Measures 9 1/2" x 13". (NEW-688-B59 ic) 3) $10,000. Issued to Arbright Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Boston, Mass. on June 27th, 1901. Signed by John W. Hall (president)/ Glue residue along left edge. Measures 9 1/2" x 13" (NEW-688-B-55 ic). The company operated freight and passenger trains over a Boston - New York City main line and a number of branch lines. They ran in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
