Tranter patten marked double action percussion Civil War era revolver in .44 caliber, serial number 14082 engraved on right side of the frame and remaining in very good condition showing considerable original blue finish. Approximately50% to 70% dulling and toning blue finish remains with some scattered light to moderate erosion and just beginning pitting. The edges are fairly sharp and the grips are very good with crisp checkering. The action is working well and allsmall parts are retained. The pistol measures nearly 13” overall with 6” barrel.
