Three items: program from the Spec Towns Retirement Dinner, held on March 19, 1976, 8.5 x 11, signed on the front cover in black ink, “Forrest ‘Spec’ Towns,” and also signed again on the first inside page on the photo of Towns’s gold medal performance in the 1936 Olympics; a vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Marjorie Jackson (first Australian woman to win an Olympic medal winning two golds—she also set ten world records) signed in black ink; and a glossy 8 x 10 photo of Allison Roe, signed in blue ballpoint. In fine overall condition, with some creasing and surface marks to photos, and first name of Roe’s signature a bit light due to decreased ink flow.
