Toy Wiedmann's Beer Cash Register 1940's
In this lot is an amazing vintage 1940's Wiedemann's Fine Beer Toy cash register. It has six ivory-colored push buttons with "W" on each that pop open the drawer, "ring" the cash register, and shows a banner in the window that says "It's Registered"! Decals on the front say "Wiedemann's Fine Beer" with logo, "Make Your Cash Register RING", and "It's Registered-the biggest news in beer!" on the drawr. Decals on either side feature the Wiedemann logo and say "Wiedemann's Fine Beer It's Registered". Very cool and in great working condition! German immigrant George Wiedemann began brewing Wiedemann’s Fine Beer way back in 1870. He had moved from Cincinnati, where he was brewmaster at Kauffmann Brewery in Over-the-Rhine, to Newport, where he partnered with John Butcher at the Jackson Street Brewery. That’s where Wiedemann’s beer was born and the legend began. Very cool and in great working condition! 6.5" W x 7.5" H x 7.25" D
