Fantastic Towle Royal Windsor pattern five-piece tea and coffee set. All pieces are large and ornate with an intricate, paneled floral design. The set includes a coffee pot (11'' tall with a hinged lid; 32.98 troy ounces), tea pot (8.75'' tall and 11'' handle-to-spout with a lidded cover; 29.74 troy ounces), footed sugar bowl with cover (7.5'' tall and 5'' handle-to-handle; 19.45 troy ounces), footed creamer with a gold-wash interior (6'' tall and 6'' handle-to-handle; 12.54 troy ounces) and footed bowl (4.25'' tall and 4.5'' diameter opening; 10.29 troy ounces). Every piece is marked on the underside by Towle, the American silversmithing dynasty that dates to the 1600's. Each piece is also stamped ''sterling'' on the bottom and numbered 76420. All pieces are monogrammed in a elaborate, floral script made to match the overall pattern of the set. Total weight for the set is 105 troy ounces. Coffee pot, tea pot and sugar bowl each have a few nearly indiscernible dents. The set is truly beautiful, especially considering its age. Near fine condition.
