Toulouse-Lautrec original etching - drypoint "Charles Maurin" - Medium: original etching and drypoint. Best known for his lithographs, Toulouse-Lautrec executed only nine drypoints during his artistic career, and this composition is one. Although it was executed in 1898, no impressions were printed during Lautrec's lifetime. The impression offered here, printed in black ink on wove paper, is from the deluxe edition of 200, published by H. Floury in 1926 for the very rare volume by Maurice Joyant, "Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec Peintre et Dessins - Estampes - Affiches".
