At the time this edition was prepared, only seven notes had been recorded." We have long believed that Canadian currency in general and chartered bank notes in particular are grossly undervalued, and the Charlton catalogue pricing confirms this, with a somewhat hypothetical value of $3000 in Very Fine being assigned. If this were a U.S., British, or Australian issue, the price level on a note of this rarity would likely be higher by a factor of ten, fifteen, or twenty.
