Early black papier mache and bisque head doll- not a put together</em></td>

<tr>
<td width="100%">
This is a very unusual doll. She is called a Topsy Turvy. The one head is a bisque shoulder plate made by Ernest Heubach a German doll manufacter. The other head is a black papier mache head with the bulgy black glass eyes. There is no damage to the bisque head and it is marked with the horseshoe and made in Germany. The black papier mache head has some crazing and lifting of the paint but compared to most papier mache heads, it's pretty good. The clothing is original. The lighter blue material on the side of the bisque doll is falling apart. The cotton on the black papier mache side is fine. The toros between the heads is straw stuffed. The compositions for the white doll have been restrung but are still loose so the new owner will need to restring them. If you like the unusual, then this is for you.She is from a smoke free environment.
