<B>Top-Notch Comics #1 (MLJ, 1939) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white pages.</B></I> The Man with the Super-Brain, the Wizard, debuts in this early MLJ comic. His very first adventure takes him to none other than Pearl Harbor, making this one of the earliest, if not the very first, comic books to mention this important World War II landmark. The talented Jack Cole is among the artists, along with Jack Binder and Dick Ryan. Other than the expected patina of age, this copy looks remarkably sharp and clean. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $1,710; VF 8.0 value = $3,990.
