Original 1984 LP *Some Tough City* by singer-songwriter and former Rainbow keyboardist Tony Carey, released by MCA Records (MCA-5484). Known for the radio hit “A Fine, Fine Day” and the atmospheric track “The First Day of Summer,” the album blends rock, pop, and narrative lyrics. The cover shows a dramatic nighttime city scene, reinforcing the urban tone of the album. Jacket is in VG+ condition with only light shelf wear and strong color fidelity. A sleeper hit of the mid-80s with cult following among AOR and melodic rock collectors.
