(Disneyland, 1954) An original concept drawing of Tomorrowland elements created by Herbert Ryman. The concepts on this page marked void include a Kaleidoscope Projector for a potential G.E. Show, a spiral pylon, ribbed awnings for the Rocket Space Port, and details mentioning a "scaled-down monorail" five years before the Disneyland-ALWEG Monorail debuted at the Park. Accomplished in mixed media, measuring 12.5" x 28.5" and mounted to matte board measuring 14.5" x 30.5", the drawing displays in good condition with edge wear, light warping, discoloration from age and adhesive bleed through, edge wear and adhesive stains to the matte, and pin holes from production use.
