American guitarist (1951–1976) who played with Zephyr, The James Gang, and Deep Purple, and who tragically died of a drug overdose at age 25. Page from a Japanese address book, 10 x 7, signed in-person in the upper left in blue ink, “Tommy Bolin, 630 N. Orlando, L. A., 213-655-6208.” Overall toning and soiling, a few small edge tears, some mild haloing to ink, mirroring of ink to right page, and some show-through from writing to opposing sides, otherwise very good condition. Consignor notes that the page was signed while Bolin was on tour with Deep Purple in Japan. A decidedly scarce signature.
