Featured in this lot is this Fireman alert speaking horn circa late 1880's and was housed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The speaking horn features a wonderfully and professionally crafted aluminum and nickel construction that shows a ribbed neck and a flared end with a trumpeter mouthpiece. The speaking horn comes complete with a museum tag that reads as follows: Fire Alert Horn - from Gainsboro TX, late 1880's. The condition of this fireman speaking horn is well preserved with some slight dings to the horn and patina adorning the side walling consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this speaking horn is 16 1/2" x 8" x 8". The collective weight of this speaking horn is 1lb 14oz. F-06
