Tom and His Pals (Paramount, 1926). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Tom Tyler made a series of "Tom and His Pals" films for FBO with a young Frankie Darro (this is the first). One of the most durable stars of the early Western cinema, Tyler's career spanned from the mid-1920s into the early 1950s, having starred in serials ("Captain Marvel"), horror ("Mummy's Ghost") and Westerns. During a five year period in the late '20s, Financier Joseph P. Kennedy (father to President John Kennedy) was a chief executive of FBO and Pathe Films. This Western was his second film. This poster has had border and corner chips replaced. Slight fold line touch-up. Stunning Art Deco motif adorns this gorgeous poster with stone litho images of Tyler, Darro and Beans the Dog! Fine- on Linen.
