Tom Yeates handles the art with a clean, uncomplicated approach, and his chiaroscuro drawing style brings an almost woodcut effect to this work. The art perfectly captures the organic quality of the story, and Yeates' style is a combination of Berni Wrightson's original shadowy style, fused with a tighter, more controlled line quality. The overall page size is 11" x 16" with a 10" x 15" image area. The art is in exceptional shape, with only some hand-written notes along the edges. Also includes the splash page production art, complete with the original indicia paste-ups. <B>Estimate: $1,200-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
