Collectible very old 15 cents then 1948 like a Golden Age time is this "Tom Sawyer" comic book no. 50 by Classics Illustrated 1st edition printed in the United States ; this "Adventures of Tom Sawyer" story by Samuel L. Clemens is forever world famous and a classic one; the colours of the drawings illustrations are outstanding on each of the numerous pages; these many pages are making it also a very thick comic book; with such exquisite comical drawings created so innovatively, this copy is an first edition worth it with as is... in surely excellent, near mint, or fine condition if you consider its age for your collection; some on ebay are $40, $50 and $60 !
