This autograph letter signed is an undated tribute by Tom Mix entitled ''A tribute to Alfredo Codona'' written after the 1937 death of his friend the trapeze artist Alfredo Codona. The 8.5'' x 11'' two page tribute, written in black ink, reads in part: ''...His passing climaxes a well filled life and I hope he landed in a perfect net with his accustomed ease and finese [sic]. / Adios - Amigo / Tom Mix''. Mix had also been a circus performer. Foxing, separation along fold and pinholes, else very good condition.
