Tom Hanks Forrest Gump Jenny's Magazine Feature Page
In the multi-award winning “Forrest Gump” (1994), Forrest (Tom Hanks), through what can only be seen as the simple luck of innocence, ends up involved in some of the greatest moments in history. It’s quite a tale! However, the one thing he most loved gives him the most misery. His childhood friend and confident, Jenny (played as an adult by Robin Wright) doesn’t seem to get a break. In one emotion scene, Forrest, having enlisted is having trouble sleeping during boot camp. A bunk buddy throws him a “Playboy” to read, and to his shock, his love, Jenny, is featured as a centerfold. We learn that because of that she is thrown out of college, which begins her downward spiral. Though Forrest spends the rest of the movie trying to help her, and put her back on track, it’s the one soul he just can't seem to save. This beautifully framed display is the actual screen used page from that Playboy that Tom Hanks reads in the quiet cold night. The display is museum quality with special inserts of the original page, plus three color screen shots, and engraved text that reads: “The magazine page that featured Jenny, read by Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump". This extra large matted and mounted frame is encased in glass. Great care has been made to enshrine this famous emotional moment from one of Hollywood’s most beloved movies. As an extra bonus we have included twelve screen used protest buttons from the scene where Forrest comes back from the war and ends up on the stage in Washington DC in front of hundreds of thousands of protestors. It is here that he meets up with Jenny again in one of the best reunion scenes ever filmed. Comes with a Certificate of Autnenticity for both the Playboy Page and the Protest Buttons. (Frame is approx 20x20”. The buttons are 3x3”). Oversized item. Additional postage required.
