Inscribed and signed "<I>First Edition Tom Clancy</B></I>" on the half title page. The rare first edition of the novel that introduced a mega-selling author to the reading public. The book is in very good condition, with foxing to the textblock fore-edge and bottom edge wear. The dust jacket is about very good, with a small closed tear at the spine tail, a small chip at each spine end, tape damage at the bottom front panel, and a small bit of wear and red staining at the top right of the front and rear panel.
