Account of the travels of Jacob Tollius Dutch doctor and alchimist in 1687 in six parts. Tollius travelled extensively in Austria, Hungary, Germany and Italy, but before he could have published his travel experiences written in letter forms, he died young, and his friend, Henrich Christian Henninius got the text published. Illustrated with 16 copperplate tables (6 are views of Hungarian towns, out of which 14 are two page ones), and inset engravings, headings, initials. In 19th century half leather, gilt spine, gilt page edges, slightly worn.
