The Dean letter, signed “Millvina,” addressed to “Philip,” in part: “So sorry to be so late sending these. Had flu! And then had so much to do. Have a very happy New Year.” The Dainton letter, signed “Barbara Dainton,” dated February 2, 1997, in full: “I am sorry to disappoint but I have no interest in discussing Titanic, as my father drowned on the ship.” The Shuman letter, signed “Eleanor,” addressed to “Philip,” in part: “I don’t think I will do much traveling this summer. I am turning down three trips. One to Memphis, Tn. One to Los Angeles and another to New York…I am in remission now for breast cancer so will stay home and try to do a little gardening.” In overall very good to fine condition, with creasing to the Dean letter.
