Titanic third-class passenger's contract ticket prop, won by Jack Dawson (portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio) in the fateful on-shore poker scene at the beginning of James Cameron's Oscar-winning 1997 masterpiece Titanic. In the scene, Jack wins the ticket from gambler Olaf Gunderson, whose name is filled in as the passenger at the bottom. Interestingly, the ticket is printed as a mirror image. For exterior scenes, Cameron had built a nearly full-size replica of the starboard side of the ship. Therefore, in order to show the ship's departure from the port side, Cameron had to film from the starboard side and flip the image in post production—all text and imagery on the ship and props in these scenes had to be reversed in order to come out correctly. The ticket measures 5.5 x 6.5, and is matted and framed to an overall size of 10.5 x 11.25. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from 20th Century Fox.
