Couch for one pound seven shillings and six pence, stamp-dated February 26, 1917. Check is endorsed on the reverse by Couch. An ink cancellation through signatures, horizontal fold, and some scattered light toning and soiling, otherwise fine condition. Couch was an able-bodied seaman aboard the Titanic (1884-1912), who was lost in the sinking. Ex. Brian Green Collection.
