Two ALSs, one signed "Winnie" and the other as "Edwina MacKenzie," three total pages, 5.75 x 7.75 and 7.25 x 10.5, one undated and the other dated to January 21, 1974. Both are ostensibly addressed to Robert Forrest. The dated 2-page letter, in part: "I also wrote to Mae Thomas and today I have a reply. Yes, I am the person who saved that child. In 1972 I was on the Today Show and the Thomases happened to see me then they phoned Walter Lord and asked to talk with me. Not until then I did not know the name of the child I saved. When I reach the Carpathia Mrs. Thomas was already aboard and in the hospital." The second handwritten letter, undated, reads, in part: "I had a very very busy time in England and the time went so fast. I met. two Titanic survivors. Eva Hart and a Mr. Doren [Dean]. Eva was seven years of age at the time and the man was eighteen." In overall fine condition, with some light edge creasing to the longer letter.
