Tipping & Lawden made on Sharps patent pepperbox derringer, finely bank note scroll engraved, blue and silver finish, fancy hard rubber grips in scroll motif serial #5455. Type I made in England with British proofs showing 50 - 70% original blue on bbl's, 20 - 40% silver on frame, very good grips. Some area's of light erosion and pin prick pitting on bbl which are minor. Sharp overall with the fine engraving these English Sharps are noted for. From the Tom Seymour Collection.
