Tintype lot including a image of a Union soldier in uniform with rifle and bayonet and a revolver in his belt that may be a percussion Bacon Arms Co. This piece is in half of a case and interestingly, there is a second image underneaththe first of a man in civilian clothes with a woman and infant (possibly the soldier and family at another time?); slight damage to each; also another smaller tintype image of 2 Northern soldiers without case, notation on back “Sgt.James C. Woodworth, Co. H. 25th Mass. Inf., Wounded at Cold Harbor. VA.” in overall very good condition. Est.: $200-$400.
