Sixth-plate tintype of Union soldier standing in full view with his frock coat buttoned once at the top. The soldier stands at attention with his legs together and his left hand against his coat lapel. 2.25” x 2.75” image is oval framed in a copper border and housed in a half-case with latch. Exterior of case shows heavy tears and edgewear. Image shows minor loss of emulsion and scratches, otherwise good condition.
