Free franked address panel, measuring 4.5 x 3, addressed in another hand to “Mr. Elias Hasket Derby, Salem Massachusetts,” and franked in the upper right, “Free, T. Pickering.” Panel also bears a “Free” stamp near the top and has been affixed to a larger off-white sheet. Vertical fold through panel affecting first letter of signature and scattered toning, otherwise fine condition.
