Timecop (1994) - Lyle Atwood (Jason Schombing) Futuristic Weapon + Stargate - Open Version.
Comes with a COA co-signed by the armorer for the show. Master armorer and weapon fabricator who's been in the business for over 30 years. One of the leading armorers in North America.
Original Futuristic Weapon used by "Lyle Atwood", played by Jason Schombing in the Peter Hyams directed science fiction action film 'Timecop' (1994). The film stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as Max Walker, a police officer in 1994 and later a U.S. federal agent in 2004, when time travel has been made possible. It also stars Ron Silver as a corrupt politician and Mia Sara as Melissa Walker, the agent's wife. The story follows Walker's life as he fights time-travel crime and investigates the politician's plans.
Made of resin. This is the open cocking mechanism version. Shows wear from age.
This gun is used by Lyle Atwood (Jason Schombing) as a personal defense weapon when Walker (Van Damme) goes back to the 1920's to arrest him. This science fiction Short barreled rifle (SBR) is in reality a modified .44 Magnum Desert Eagle Pistol, but with a larger futuristic shell. At the beginning of the scene, the weapon is represented as some sort of shotgun, with a 'rack' and then it fires large single shots which obliterate furniture, however, by the end of the scene, the weapon is depicted to be a pistol with a racking foregrip.
This same weapon was also screen used in Stargate: Atlantis (2004-2009) by the Genii (The armorer worked on both) and possibly other productions.
