Tiffin corset shape wheel cut vase is a true work of art, large and ornately detailed and a superb example of Late Victorian Ohio glass makers craftsmanship.

Highly detailed Gravic cut flower petals graced with deep miter cut leaf blades and delicate lathe etched wheat shafts replicating a pattern of early America on a glass ground that is in excellent condition. The glass has developed a silvery grey luster to it from age.

The thick rim is detailed in a wheel etched fluted rim on the outside, giving it a Satin finish. An 18 point deep cut Ray enhances the base.

Measures a magnificent 12 inches high with a 4.25 diameter base. Vase gradually decreases to a 3 inch waist and widens to its 4.5 inch opening. Vase weighs in at 4 pounds.

Condition is rated as near excellent with very fine abrasion on the base rim from years of use (photos have been enhanced for better view of the pattern detail). Glass is clear and softly brilliant as shown. Produced during the late American Brilliant Period of cut glass.
