Gavus, small box pendants, are usually worn on necks or carried by Buddhist believers. Statues of Buddhas and guardians of Dharma or amulets are placed in it. It looks like a mobile shrine. Some are made of gold, silver, copper or tiber metals, but there are also wood ones. This is a silver Gavu inlaid with gold. A statue holding his consort can be plac inside.
