Josef von Sternberg's first American sound film was a gritty story of gangland boss George Bancroft, incarcerated on death row, plotting the death of fellow inmate Richard Arlen for stealing his girl (Fay Wray). These cards have corner creases, edge tears and pinholes. Great shots of Wray and Bancroft.
