American Rococo Revival style three piece Gilt Bronze Girandole set of the Sultana Model, attributed to Cornelius & Co., Philadelphia, c.1845 to 1861, with elaborately foliated candle-arms and rosettes, on an original marble and gilded bronze base. height 20 in., width 15 1/2 in., depth 7 in. Condition: This is a true matched set and it retains its original patina. One of the more rare Girandole sets from this period. Some of the prisms have been replaced and there is one repair to the back of one bobeche. A tip broke off and it was re set. (We show a picture of this small repair)
