<B>Three War of 1812 Era Documents and Letter.</B></I> An interesting lot including a one page letter from James Fisk, 7.75” x 10”, Washington, March 10, 1814, to Oliver Ingham in which he writes in part: “<I>The prospects of peace in Europe have vanished, & the war continues as fierce & sanguinary as ever, and I think that you may calculate on an active campaign in this country the ensuing summer…</B></I>”, toned with the usual creases, very good; a one page, 8.25” x 13.5”, receipt for supplies provided to army troops under the command of 2nd Lt. John Stump of the F. B. Hussars, dated September 23, 1814, listing all items furnished and the annotation “<I>I certify that the items in the above bill have been furnished by Wm. Ross of Bladensburg to bidettes under my command in the serving of the U. States…</B></I>”, toned, with fold creases and old tape repairs on the verso, else good condition; and a one page, 7.5” x 12” deposition dated September 7, 1815, Niagara County, New York, concerning an inquiry into the matter of “<I>unfit beef</B></I>” for troops and the disposal thereof, toned, with the usual folds, else very good. <I>Ex.
