U.S. Bicentennial issue with standard Colt Bicentennial markings and features including the original 13 colonies stamped on the cylinder and the Great Seal of the United States on the left grip panel. The oil finished walnut chest of drawers has three red velvet lined compartments each of which is form fitted for the Colt revolver and any accessories they include. The outside features brass hardware and a vertical storage compartment. The Colt Factory letter explains each of the revolvers in detail and goes on to explain that the set was factory custom made in 1976 for Gary W. French, when he was an officer at Colt, they were then retained by Colt as a sample of the special Bicentennial issue.

Condition: The gun is near new with only very light handling marks overall. The Colt original walnut presentation case is very good with a few dings and chips and a moderate stain on the top, with some corner repair.

B) Features the Colt royal blue finish with the standard markings of the Bicentennial Python and fitted with smooth two-piece rosewood grips featuring The Great Seal of the United States on left side. Described in the Colt factory letter as the "Rolls Royce" of handguns.

C) The Dragoon revolver has the cylinder with roll engraved Texas Ranger and Indian battle motif and a one-piece rosewood grip with The Great Seal of the United States medallion on the left side. Included with the revolver is a brass powder flask, brass bullet mold with casehardened sprue cutter, tin for caps and nipple wrench in the specially fitted red velvet lined drawer.
