American actor (1896–1937) who, as a vaudeville impresario, assembled the act that evolved into the Three Stooges. The tumultuous relationship between Healy and his star trio led to several rifts until the Stooges struck out on their own for good in 1934. Two fountain pen signatures, “Ted Healy” (one ins), on individual album pages. In overall fine condition with light show-through from writing on the reverse of one item.
