The round wooden shaft is 69 inches long. 2) The head is composed of three pieces, an 11 1/2 inch iron blade, a 3 inch decorative brass joint, and a 4 1/2 inch iron socket. The round wooden shaft is 69 1/4 inches long. 3) Possibly Malaysian from the 16th century, this spear has a finely forged 18 1/2 inch Damascus head. There is faint evidence of etched designs.
